The project uses maps — graphic interfaces that represent diverse and diverging approaches to the questions we are asking, Form and content will be changing as elements are added and reconfigured by collaborators and contributors.

The Spectacular Data project respectfully acknowledges that it is taking place in various locations that include the unceded traditional territories of the Coast Salish peoples, including the sÉ™lilwÉ™taɬ (Tsleil-Waututh), kÊ·ikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish) and xÊ·mÉ™θkÊ·É™y̓əm (Musqueam) Nations, as well as the territory of Néhiyaw (Cree), Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), Métis, Nakoda (Stoney), Dene, Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) and Anishinaabe (Ojibway/Saulteaux), lands that are now known as part of Treaties 6, 7 and 8 and homeland of the Métis.
